Drew Brees

Drew Brees took a huge hit in the Week 10 win over the San Francisco 49ers. As a result, Brees ended up breaking 11 total ribs and had a punctured lung. That left Brees on the IR in the coming days. He has since missed four games.

Taysom Hill has done an okay job in his place, but it is time for the future Hall-of-Famer to return. If the Saints hope to have a chance in this game, their run and pass game is going to need to be on point and exploit the Chiefs defense.

Drew Brees back would also mean bringing back the old Alvin Kamara. Brees has the experience and the head knowledge or IQ that is needed to beat a team like the Chiefs. It is a strategic battle and one false move can mean a loss to one team or the other.

Drew Brees is seasoned enough that those mistakes do not come often. It has been quite a ride for Taysom Hill, but the Saints need Brees back, and they need him back now. If that happens, he needs to be the one to take all the snaps on Sunday.
