Atlanta Falcons

The Saints have an opportunity here to get a first-round pick out of the Atlanta Falcons. Matt Ryan’s contract is almost untradeable so for now the Falcons are stuck with him. They have also built a core around Julio Jones and Clavin Ridley.

Last offseason, they added Todd Gurley after letting Devonta Freeman walk in free agency. The offense is not what could help the Falcons, defense is. Like we mentioned before with Trent Murphy and the Bills, the Falcons could get a primed defensive end.

The Saints can’t use three defensive ends. Maybe a heavy rotation, but that breeds a lot of inconsistencies on the line. New Orleans could almost pull the same thing with the Falcons here and their defensive end Charles Harris.

The Falcons have the potential to get a pretty high pick in this upcoming draft which would allow New Orleans to maybe draft a high quarterback to replace Brees or some other top talent. This would really reward the Saints.
