Washington Football Team

One of the biggest question marks surrounding the New Orleans Saints this year is, “Is Drew Brees going to retire?” If he does, then the Saints need another quarterback to take his place at the wheel of one of the deadliest offenses in football.

New Orleans already has Taysom Hill, who has been starting in Brees’ place while injured, and Jameis Winston, a former NFL passing leader just a season ago. They have two options that we could see easily getting the job next season.

However, there is still the possibility that Payton and the front office look to go outside of those two to replace them. If that is the case, then Dwayne Haskins could be a frontrunner for the job after getting benched for Alex Smith by the Washington Football Team.

The black and gold could also bring in Haskins to play a season behind Brees if Winston leaves and Brees decides to stay. The 23-year-old quarterback has bright potential under the right coaching and Payton has the eye for talent like that.
