Taysom Hill is a turnover machine.

The biggest reason by far that Hill is a good offseason trade candidate is his turnovers. In the last five games for the Saints, Hill has totaled EIGHT fumbles! He had one Sunday night. There are starting running backs that go full seasons without eight fumbles.

Hill has that many in five games. For some reason, he can not hold on to the ball. He also adds one interception tonight to make eleven turnover opportunities in five starts. Over the course of the entire year, it gets worse.

He has 10 fumbles on the year. On top of his fumbles, while he has been the starter in Brees’ place, Hill has recorded two interceptions in four starts. He has recorded stats in 14 total games this year and has almost averaged a turnover in every game.

With 12 turnovers on the year, Hill has almost 40 percent of all the Saints’ turnovers on the year. He can not seem to just keep the ball. Unfortunately, that does not make a good player.

If he was to multiply a whole season based on the stats in his last four starts, Hill would have nine interceptions and 24 fumbles on a whole starting season.
