In a game that will feature two backup quarterbacks, the Saints will travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. Can they win their 10th straight game?

If you would have told me at the beginning of the season that we’d be seeing Saints’ Taysom Hill and Eagles’ Jalen Hurts duel it out in Week 14, I would’ve thought you were crazy.

Yet, this season, as all things this season, has been exactly that — crazy. For the Saints, they find themselves in somewhat of a similar position to where the Falcons were against them a few weeks ago; they have to face a quarterback with very little NFL game tape on.

These two situations aren’t the same, as Hurts is a much better-known commodity, but there are certainly some parallels.

The Eagles and Saints, due to their success in recent years, have a lot of history with one another.

New Orleans has won five of the last five matchups, including two playoff games, while these two teams have rostered the same players through the years — Malcolm Jenkins, Patrick Robinson, and Darren Sproles, to name a few.

As we head into the final stages of the season, every game is pivotal for the Saints.

They are hanging onto the No. 1 seed by a thread, and with only one team getting a first-round bye, it is critical that they maintain their current spot. Thus, they cannot afford to have a letdown spot against the Eagles.

Can the Saints win their 10th-straight game? Or will Hurts burst onto the scene against them in what could be Hill’s final game as a starter this year? Let us break down this intriguing matchup!
