His fresh perspective on the game

It is something special when you take a rookie quarterback and put him at the wheel of an offense that has had one quarterback for so long. They tend to see things and read plays in a different way than the long-standing quarterback did.

This is the same for Jalen Hurts and Carson Wentz. They see and read the game in a completely different manner. When it comes to defense planning to play against them, they prepare for the two of them in vastly different manners as well.

Jalen Hurts has the ability to get outside of the pocket and make plays that Carson Wentz might have not made already throwing the ball away. Hurts also sees things that Wentz might not have seen with his 15 interceptions this season.

Jalen Hurts could end up being the one that the Saints didn’t want to play. His ability to get the ball down the field in the air or on his feet is amazing. Pair that with his fresh perspective and he could be the kryptonite that the Saints didn’t want to face.
