His ability to beat you with his feet

There is no debate that when you talk about who is going to beat you more on the ground between Carson Wentz and Jalen Hurst, it’s going to be Hurts. Hurts showed in college that his feet were a huge part of his game.

While at Alabama, Hurts rushed for almost 1,000 per healthy season. After transferring to Oklahoma for his senior season, he rushed for over 1,200 yards that year. He beat everybody on the ground in college.

I know the NFL is different, but that type of playstyle works here. Some of the best quarterbacks in the league are like that — Patrick Mahomes, Desean Watson, Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson — who is to say that Jalen Hurts couldn’t be the next.

In the short amount of time that Hurts played against the Packers last week, he was the second-leading rusher on the team with 29 yards. Give him a full game start to finish and Hurts could easily surpass 75 yards on the ground.
