Drew Brees, QB

Drew Brees has been the embodiment of what it means to wear the black and gold for over a decade now. He was the leader of the first New Orleans Saints team to walk away from a season with a Lombardi trophy coming back home.

Going on his 19th season now, he is playing still at a high level. He has only played in nine games this season due to an injury that led him to suffer from 11 broken ribs and a punctured lung on the right side of his body from a blow to the chest.

This is the second year in a row that Brees has missed some time due to an injury, last year it was a broken thumb. However, despite his missing some games, Brees has still been posting numbers at a high level without his No. 1 receiver for most of it too.

Through nine games, Brees has posted 219 completions for 2,196 yards and 18 touchdowns. He has also only thrown three interceptions. He is close to posting a career-high again in completion percentage and QB rating.
