Taysom Hill, QB

Last year when Brees missed time, it was Teddy Bridgewater that filled in and won five straight games. This year, with Bridgewater now starting for the Carolina Panthers, it is backup Taysom Hill that is filling in for Brees at quarterback.

Even with the signing of Jameis Winston in the offseason, Sean Payton still chose Hill to start. Despite being on this list for his gadget duties, Hill has been on the top of his game replacing Brees for the three games he has now missed.

Who knows how long Hill will be starting, but so far he has 58 completions for 629 yards for two touchdowns. He has a 71 percent completion percentage which is only two percent less than Brees. He also has one interception and has taken nine sacks at quarterback.

In his other duties, Hill has run 68 times for 362 yards and five touchdowns. He actually averages more yards per carrying than Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray. He also adds six receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown.
