Number Three: Cameron Wake

This final page is the least likely to happen as well as the lowest need on the New Orleans Saints, but it’s still worth mentioning.

You can never have too many pass rushers in the NFL, especially on a team that is contending for a Super Bowl, and Cameron Wake is one of the best pass rushers in NFL history.

While the Saints have been just fine with Cameron Jordan, Marcus Davenport, and Trey Hendrickson anchoring the pass rush for the defense, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to add some veteran depth in case of injury or a positive COVID case.

2020 has been a year full of unforeseen occurrences, and knowing the Saints’ luck they shouldn’t be comfortable with where they’re at.

Wake has easily been one of the NFL’s best pass rushers in the past decade and he is ring chasing at the age of 38. He would be a cheap price tag for the Saints to bring in, and he would be able to provide reliable depth and help mentor the young pass rushers the Saints currently have.

Davenport has been up and down with his injury-plagued season, and while Trey Hendrickson has been very good, his injury history could catch up to him as well.

The Saints should certainly be more safe than sorry and pick up Cameron Wake before another playoff team does instead.
