In the two games Drew Brees has been out with his fractured ribs, it’s clear the Saints need another answer at the quarterback position.

Taysom Hill, unfortunately, does not seem like the long-term answer at the quarterback position for the New Orleans Saints.

The offense has been very one-dimensional with Hill at quarterback, and the Saints offense revolves around a guy who can frequently push the ball down the field accurately and Hill hasn’t been able to get that done.

The Saints are not a ground and pound football team which is almost what they have been reverted to and a lot of that falls on the shoulders of Taysom Hill’s lack of production as an actual passer.

Don’t get me wrong, the third-year quarterback out of BYU brings a lot to the Saints offense, but his lack of moving the ball down the field with his arm is providing a one-dimensional vibe with the offense.

While the Saints could opt to roll with what they have or use the NFL Draft to their advantage, the team should certainly take a look at some veteran guys who could thrive in New Orleans.
