Weeks 16-17

Week 16 – Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints (11-3)

This game was shaping up to conclude one of the hardest stretches in New Orleans’ season. However, the Vikings have not proven to be the same Minnesota Vikings that beat the Saints in the Wild Card game of the 2020 NFL Playoffs.

This year, the Vikings are not even a .500 team currently at 5-6. Because of that, this year the revenge tour is concluding in New Orleans at Week 16. With the Saints having a better run defense than last year, Dalvin Cook should be less of a threat.

Prediction: MIN Vikings 13 – NO Saints 21

Week 17 – New Orleans Saints (12-3) at Carolina Panthers

New Orleans is going to conclude their season like they do every year — a game against Carolina. This will also be their last divisional game of the year on their way to a perfect 8-0 stretch in the NFC South this year and most likely on top of the conference.

The last game between the two was a close 27-24 victory, and I think this one will be close as well. New Orleans always does a great job at underestimating the weaker opponents. However, I don’t think any underestimation gets the Panthers a victory here.
