Winner – Latavius Murray

Latavius Murray was a man among boys on Sunday against the Broncos.  Murray led the Saints’ backfield with 19 carries. That is more than Alvin Kamara, who only rushed 11 times, and more than Taysom Hill who rushed 10 times.

Murray took those 19 carries and ran for 124 yards. That is one of Murray’s first 100+ yard games with Kamara playing in the same game. Kamara added 54 yards, and Hill added 44 yards. However, Murray took over the backfield against the Broncos.

Murray was the best New Orleans running back on the roster on Sunday. Murray also totaled two rushing touchdowns in his impressive outing. Murray’s first touchdown was on the back of a 36-yard scamper almost untouched into the endzone.

He played the best we’ve seen Murray play in tandem with Alvin Kamara since the two paired up a couple of years ago. I hope this is just the beginning of what Latavius Murray is going to do to teams the rest of the season.
