Number Three: Marcus Davenport

Both New Orleans Saints defensive ends were bringing that heat on Sunday and it’s certainly safe to say Kendall Hinton and the rest of the Denver offense was well aware of it.

Davenport was consistently winning blocks and generating pressure and his speed and athleticism showed when he was all over the field making tackles. He had three tackles, one tackle for a loss, and one quarterback hit against the Broncos and the impact he left on the field was certainly felt.

Marcus Davenport was lined up directly across the center Lloyd Cushenberry when he fumbled in the game which was recovered by Kwon Alexander.

Davenport also forced a few incomplete passes or caused running backs to cut back and run the opposite way due to Davenport’s presence in the backfield as early and often as he was.
