The New Orleans Saints got the win in Denver on Sunday afternoon as they managed to route the Broncos to a final score of 31 to 3.

The Saints’ defense paved the way for a New Orleans victory as they forced seven punts, forced three turnovers, and allowed just a single completed pass. The defense was just all-out dominant against a quarterback-less Broncos.

The Saints are now the number one ranked defense in the NFL thanks to a strong outing on Sunday. Their rush defense, led by veteran superstar Cam Jordan, is one of the best in the league and has yet to allow a single 100-yard rusher.

New Orleans defense, when the Saints lost Bridgewater last season, stepped up. They’re doing it again this year as they’ve held the Falcons and Broncos to a mere 12 points while Brees has been sidelined.

That said, several players are certainly worth mentioning, but only three can crack my list. Here are the three best players on the defensive side of the ball that crushed it on Sunday.
