Sean Payton

The first person that you have to be thankful for is New Orleans’ head coach, Sean Payton.

Payton has been with the team since 2006 and is considered one of the best coaches in the entire NFL. His mastermind was recently on display as he helped the Taysom Hill-leading Saints defeat their inner-division rival, the Atlanta Falcons.

As stated, Sean Payton has been the head coach of the New Orleans Saints since 2006. One of his first acts as the head coach was to bring in future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Drew Brees from San Diego. He has 138 wins as a head coach.

He was the Super Bowl XLIV champion, and he also won AP Coach of the Year in 2006. He has led to team to an 8-7 playoff record, and he has one of the best winning percentages of any coach in the NFL with an all-time percentage of 63 percent.

Not every team has the opportunity to have a Top 5 coach. The Saints have one and have had one for years. Part of the reason for all of their success is largely on the shoulders of the talent of head coach Sean Payton.
