Alvin Kamara

The New Orleans Saints carried the ball an insane 36 times against the Falcons. They had three different players go for ten carries or more while the Falcons didn’t have a single rusher hit even nine.

That said, Taysom Hill led the charge with 51 yards on ten carries. Both Latavius Murray and Alvin Kamara had more carries yet finished the game with fewer touches. Kamara did find the endzone on one of three rushing touchdowns for New Orleans.

After the team’s Week 11 performance, it’s clear the team prefers a combination of Hill and Murray. Murray, a much bigger back, could be a better blocking option, especially with Hill scrambling on pass attempts that don’t go as planned.

Murray ended the game with 33 snaps, his most of the season. He was in 50 percent of the offensive snaps while Kamara was in just 48 percent. Kamara played in 32 snaps, the fewest of the season.

The 2020 season has been one in which Kamara has managed to see the field in all ten games. He won’t be used as much with Hill at quarterback as he’s such a dynamic rusher himself. The check-downs just aren’t there when Hill is in.

Sorry, fantasy managers, Kamara may not be the same till Brees is back.
