Josh McDaniels, New England Patriots

Josh McDaniels has been one of the most sought after head coaches in the entire NFL. Over the past six years, McDaniels has generally been talked about in every big coaching decision that every team has had to make — ever.

It is no surprise that a guy who has coached under one of the greatest head coaches now for 17 years as a personal assistant, defensive assistant, quarterbacks coach, and now as the offensive coordinator.

He took a short break to be the Denver Broncos head coach for a year; he also served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Los Angeles Rams under Steve Spagnuolo.

While McDaniels was a head coach in Denver, he led the team to an 8-8 record and came up just short of the playoffs in the NFC. He ended up starting 2010 as the head coach, but after attaining a measly 3-9 record, he was let go by the organization.
