Adam Trautman

The only game this season in which Taysom HIll has more than one completed pass, the only players he threw towards were tight ends. Typically bigger players with more length and larger frames to get to worse-thrown balls, Trautman could emerge as one of Hill’s premier targets.

He’s proven that he can make difficult catches despite not getting too many snaps throughout the first few months of the season. The third-round pick from Dayton, Trautman is everything the team is looking for in a future tight end.

It would be shocking if a Hill-run offense doesn’t focus on running the ball. Fans were seemingly getting impatient with Sean Payton’s use of Hill because it felt like an automatic run was going to be the call.

That’s not how it’s going to be with Hill as the main quarterback. He’ll likely be showcasing if he can be the team’s next star quarterback, and Trautman, who stands 6-foot-5, may be part of what makes Hill a success.
