The New Orleans Saints now have quarterback Taysom Hill leading the way, and that could benefit some of the team’s other personnel.

Drew Brees went down against the San Francisco 49ers. With a collapsed lung and multiple fractured ribs, Brees is now placed on the injured reserve. The Saints will have to do without their future Hall of Famer for at least three weeks.

They’ve named Taysom Hill as their starter. It was a baffling move, one that many expected to be different. Jameis Winston was the starter that many assumed was going to step into first-team reps.

Hill, who doesn’t even have over 20 pass attempts on his career, will be taking over the reins to the offense. It’s an interesting shift of power, one that will forcibly alter how the Saints prepare their offense.

Behind center, Hill may force the team into more of a run-heavy offense.

It’ll truly be interesting how the offense works in Hill’s first start. Some will benefit while many receivers may suffer. That said, let’s dive into three players that may see increased responsibility with Hill taking the snaps.
