The Saints have won six straight, but they’ll have to overcome major adversity to make it seven straight…..

Good news, Saints fans: the team is 7-2 and on a six-game win streak!

Now, for the bad news: Drew Brees has been placed on injured reserve and will miss at least the next three games with five cracked ribs and a collapsed lung. The expectation was that Jameis Winston would take his place, but head coach Sean Payton had different plans.

That’s right, Taysom Hill be the team’s starting quarterback on Sunday against the division-rival Falcons. This certainly comes as a surprise, but considering he is set to earn $16 million next season, perhaps it shouldn’t be.

This is a crucial game for a multitude of reasons.

First off, any game against the Falcons is big for the Saints, given the rivalry these two teams share. Additionally, the team has no margin for error in the division race right now, as the Bucs are right behind them with a 7-3 record. To top it off, this is Hill’s chance to prove Payton right.

In other words, this is an incredibly intriguing game. Can Hill win his first game as a starter against the team’s greatest rival? Let us break this down further!
