The Falcons have a top-five rushing defense.

New Orleans doesn’t necessarily have a great rushing offense, but you have to remember, they are going into this game without Drew Brees. The play calling might be different depending on the flow of the game — especially if the weather is bad.

If the game gets forced into the run, then I am afraid the Saints will lose the battle in the trenches. The Falcons on the year rank No. 4 in the NFL in total yards given up over the first ten weeks of the season with only 897 yards given up.

That is less than 100 yards per game on average, and only a handful of teams in the NFL can say they have achieved that. Even if it comes down to Taysom Hill scrambling out of the pocket, their front seven are just good.

That is going to mean that Taysom Hill is going to have to air the ball out and air it out a lot. That is also going to force Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders to be on their “A” game to avoid having to run the ball.
