Number Three: Energy

Jameis Winston has an energy about him that radiates throughout the entire team, much like Teddy Bridgewater did in the previous two seasons.

It’s easy for a team to rally behind a guy who genuinely appears as if he loves coming to work every day and based on every report on Winston, he seems to be that kind of guy.

Sure, players were certainly frustrated with the outing Winston had against the 49ers, but he was thrust into the game with limited preparation and no heads up.

It was obvious the Saints limited Winston’s usage in the second half of the game, but with a full week of first-team reps, he could be let off the leash soon.

If all goes well the Saints should be able to rally behind Winston’s energy just like they did with Teddy Bridgewater last season when Brees went down.
