Number Two: Arm Strength

The biggest thing that is exciting New Orleans Saints fans is the arm strength that Jameis Winston possesses. Drew Brees has been under scrutiny all season for his apparent declining arm strength, but Winston gives the Saints a prime opportunity to blow the top off defenses.

For instance, in 2019 with Tampa Bay, Winston threw for 5,109 yards, but 3,249 of those yards came through the air before the ball hit the wide receiver’s hands.

Considering the speed and talent the Saints have on the roster, this should excite fans across the world. If the Saints choose to start Winston and give him the first-string snaps in practice all week, he will get a full week being the guy to run the team and lead them to success.

Sure, Winston may make some mistakes, but the guy’s not perfect. The upside he brings with his arm strength could give him an opportunity to prove he can be the future of the New Orleans Saints.
