Latavius Murray, RB

Latavius Murray is another player that might suffer at the hand of Jameis Winston. Now granted, Bruce Arians was the coach in Tampa Bay, and Sean Payton is a lot more sensible. With a mobile quarterback and a receiving running back like Kamara, it makes the running game less important.

Latavius Murray has been the main rusher in the black and gold as of recently. Kamara has taken all the receiving duties at the halfback spot while Murray has taken most of the rushing reps over the last couple of games.

With a mobile quarterback like Winston at the quarterback spot, Payton can afford to run more pass plays and trust Winston to make something out of nothing. Because of that, I predict that Murray’s numbers will suffer some.

The Saints are taking a turn in their winning streak. With Drew Brees out, Jameis Winston is going to have to take the ship and continue what the team has been doing. Let’s hope Payton was right when he wanted to sign Winston.
