Number Three: Marshon Lattimore

Marshon Lattimore is pivotal in the New Orleans Saints playing together as a unit. Lattimore left the game against the San Francisco 49ers with an oblique injury but considering the game was basically out of reach it didn’t seem to affect the defense as much.

Patrick Robinson has played well in relief of Lattimore this season, but it’s never good to see your franchise cornerback on the sideline with a big inner division rival coming up. Lattimore is always very good against Julio Jones and the Falcons and him sitting out would certainly hurt the team.

It doesn’t seem like Lattimore’s injury is too serious so hopefully, he’ll be good to go for Sunday afternoon.

Lattimore is the star of the cornerback group and typically is assigned the most challenging task. While his stardom has been in question, Lattimore has still cemented himself as the Saints’ best defensive back, and if he misses time, it could hurt New Orleans’ secondary.
