There’s no denying the New Orleans Saints have been hurt by injuries this season, and if they continue, it could cripple the team’s chances.

The New Orleans Saints managed to pick up a 27-13 victory over the reigning Super Bowl runner-up San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon, but it came with an expensive cost, star quarterback Drew Brees.

Brees missed five games last season as one of the most exciting storylines, Teddy Bridgewater’s ability to step up, was able to flourish in his absence. This season, with Brees not out for a while, it could be Jameis Winston’s turn.

Nobody likes losing players to injury or in any other form for that matter, but losing starters on a team in contention for a Super Bowl that just got all their players back from injury hurts a little bit more.

The Saints will need to find a way to win without some key players and fast but some players will be missed more than others. Here’s a look at three players whose injuries will hurt the Saints the most.
