The New Orleans Saints took it to the San Francisco 49ers last night in a beautiful revenge game from last year.

The Saints went into Sunday with a 6-2 record looking to keep a five-game win streak alive. The revenge game from last year’s loss to the Niners was bound to be one for excitement. Good thing this game did not disappoint for New Orleans’ fans.

They started out cold in this game, letting the Niners get a lead, but it didn’t last long. Before we knew it, the Saints were already back in the lead and had blown the game out to a 27-10 lead before sealing the deal 27-13.

The 7-2 New Orleans Saints now look toward an NFC South divisional rival Week 11 opponent in the Atlanta Falcons. This will be their first game against the Falcons this season, but it shouldn’t be a problem for New Orleans.

All around the team played great against the Niners. There isn’t much improvement we can offer, but we can look at something else. Looking back on yesterday’s game, there were specifically three takeaways that we can see from the Saints.
