Number Three: Demario Davis

The New Orleans Saints’ defensive captain and linebacker Demario Davis had one of his best games of the 2020 season against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon.

Davis, who now has Kwon Alexander another speedy linebacker on the defense with him, played very well and helped anchor the defense which was crucial to a Saints win.

Davis, who should be a Pro Bowler for the first time this season, recorded 12 total tackles, one sack, and one pass deflection against the 49ers and helped call the plays to put the Saints in a perfect position to win.

Davis had excellent coverage all day and nearly had an interception that was hauled in by 49ers wide receiver, Kendrick Bourne, instead.

Davis came up clutch numerous times on Sunday which helped the Saints remain in first place in the ultra-competitive NFC South and remain the NFC’s top team.
