Number One: Most Valuable Player

There’s absolutely no doubt who the MVP of the New Orleans Saints is right now because this man should also be in MVP conversation in the entire NFL.

Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been taking the NFL by storm with his rushing and receiving abilities and has been dominant in both aspects through the midway point of the season.

When talking about the MVP award, you have to really consider where the team would be without that player. If the Saints didn’t have Drew Brees, they would probably still be fine, but if they did not have Alvin Kamara on the team, this season would look much different.

Kamara has been the athlete the Saints needed to step up, and he’s been playing even better since the team inked him to a five-year contract extension worth $75 million. Kamara’s numbers have been some of the best of his career as he currently ranks third in the NFL with 60 receptions.

Kamara has already surpassed over 1,000 all-purpose yards this season and has also found the end zone eight times. If he keeps this up he may not just be the Saints’ MVP, but the NFL’s MVP as well.
