Michael Thomas catches 10+ passes and 100+ yards

The Saints haven’t had Michael Thomas since the last time they played the Buccaneers in the first game of the year. Whether by injury or disciplinary action, Thomas has missed seven straight weeks of action approaching Week 9.

Even in Week 1, Thomas didn’t do much more than three receptions for 17 yards. That was a weak and little performance compared to what we are used to Michael Thomas putting up stat-wise. This week will be different.

Last year, however, the stat line that I expect Thomas to have in his first full game this season was nothing out of the ordinary. On the season, he caught 149 passes for 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns. That is roughly nine receptions and 108 yards per game.

With that stat line in every game last year, 10 receptions and 100 yards are ordinary. If Thomas is really fully back to 100% health, then he will strike back with fear. Michael Thomas will have a great game tonight.
