Saints QB, Drew Brees, might not suit up.

Drew Brees has found his way on to the injury report for the first time this season this week. He has been listed as a limited participant in all the practices this week with a left shoulder injury that is a mystery to us.

This would lead way to either Jameis Winston or Taysom Hill. Both of them have been fighting for the official No. 2 position. Hill has been in New Orleans for years and Winston was a new addition this year, but that didn’t stop him from making a mark.

Winston was also the NFL’s leading passer last year. He passed for over 3,000 yards and 30 touchdowns. He did so with a mediocre offensive line and zero run game. Because of Brees’ play already this year, fans have been calling for the Saints to insert Winston.

Now might be the perfect time for the Saints to give Jameis Winston a shot and see what he has. He might just be the quarterback that Sean Payton has been looking for to take over the reins for Brees. Hopefully, he gets a shot.
