Number Three: Michael Thomas

The New Orleans Saints really need to see their 2019 NFL Offensive Player of the Year step up in a big way on Sunday night vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the only team Thomas has played this season.

Thomas has only played in one game this season, Week 1 vs the Buccaneers, due to an array of injuries that include a hamstring injury and a high-ankle sprain.

The Saints have been desperately missing their star wide receiver who broke the NFL’s receptions record just a season ago.

The Saints offense has been rather stagnant in his absence and they are eager to get their full arsenal of Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, and Alvin Kamara all playing on the same field at the same time.

Having Michael Thomas back will provide the Saints with the depth they desperately need as some emerging stars like Marquez Callaway and Deonte Harris won’t be asked to do as much on offense and can be brought in as fresh legs at times.

The Saints offense is at its best with Michael Thomas on it and a solid game could make all the difference on Sunday night.
