There’s no denying the fact that the New Orleans Saints are one of the best teams in the NFL, but they do have some areas that need a little bit of help.

When you’re a team like the New Orleans Saints, who have Super Bowl aspirations, adding free agents is a key way to stockpile some depth within your team in case something were to go wrong down the road.

The Saints of all teams should be extra prepared as things haven’t gone their way each of the past three seasons with early exits from the playoffs each season.

Players like defensive end Marcus Davenport along with a plethora of offensive lineman oftentimes can’t make to the postseason after such an intense season.

There’s no telling if that’s going to be the case again this season, but the team has battled through several injuries. With a trade deadline that was rather uninteresting, the Saints will have their options with players that either have been or will be released or waived.

These three players can help the Saints acquire some depth and stockpile some talent heading into the final stretch of the season.
