Will Fuller V – Houston Texans

New Orleans wide receiver problems have continued to be a huge woe for the team. Michael Thomas hasn’t played since Week 1, Emmanuel Sanders will miss his third game on the COVID/IR list, and Tre’Quan Smith has missed some time as well.

This is the reason that the Saints needed a wide receiver and should have tried to make an offer. The biggest race to Will Fuller V was the Green Bay Packers. The Saints still had a chance at the Texans star receiver.

In the year so far, Will Fuller has 31 receptions on 47 targets for 490 yards and five touchdowns. The Saints could use that production because the top receiver has only 304 yards for the Saints. They need help at the position but missed the opportunity.

The New Orleans Saints did trade for linebacker Kwon Alexander, but they should have tried to add more power and production than just that. Because they failed, they lost out on the potential of these three players down the stretch.
