Demario Davis

Demario Davis has been the rock on which the defense stands. He literally owns the field. He is pretty much the only viable linebacker on the Saints team that would be considered in the position of untradeable by the Saints.

On the year, Davis leads the Saints in tackles with 42. He also has 4.5 tackles for a loss, 2.0 sacks, and one pass defended. Those are excellent stats for a linebacker only eight games into the 2020 season coming off of a first-team All-Pro year in 2019.

The only other defender that has done as good as Davis is Marshon Lattimore in the secondary and Trey Hendrickson on the line. Because Davis plays in the middle of the field, he has to be a part of the secondary and the line.

Demario Davis is the leader of the defense on his way to another Pro Bowl at the end of the year. If they want to win a Super Bowl, Davis is going to have to be a part of this team going forward, there is no chance they trade him.
