Zach Cunningham

The Texans don’t have just one win because they’re a bad football team. They’ve played some of the best throughout their first month and a half, and it’s put them drastically behind the ball as we’ve already noted.

If they can’t beat them now, they probably won’t be able to come December. Building around Deshaun Watson is the move, and while Zach Cunningham could be an untouchable piece, he’s also one that would drastically improve the Saints defense.

Cunningham has 71 combined tackles this season and five games of at least ten. With two sacks and a handful of quarterback hits as well, Cunningham is one of the best outside linebackers in the NFL.

Having signed a massive four-year, $58 million deal, adding Cunningham may be detrimental to the already strapped Saints cap. If they can’t clear space, this deal is impossible, but it’s something that would be a game-changer for New Orleans.

All five are or have been big names in the NFL, and the Saints should, at the very least, see what it takes to acquire their talents.
