John Ross

Former first-round pick John Ross may not be considered a big name, but he was taken over Patrick Mahomes a few years ago.

While he hasn’t produced like a first-round pick, he’s still considered one of the fastest receivers in the NFL. His speed is electrifying, and while he’s had trouble with drops throughout his career, he should still be playing.

The drama in Cincinnati has yet to end, and Ross is now the main cause of it after the team dealt Carlos Dunlap, a player also noticeable frustrated with the coaching staff. The team needs to trade Ross, and he could be a solid No. 3 receiver.

Ross has two receptions this season but has 28 a season ago, averaging over an 18 yards per catch average. That was in just eight games. Had he stayed healthy, Ross would’ve been on pace for his first 1,000-yard season on an offense that could hardly move the ball.

Ross shouldn’t cost much as he could also be cut. A seventh-round pick may do the trick, and it may be worth taking a chance on the former top-ten pick.
