Number Two: JJ Watt

The New Orleans Saints are in need of another dominant pass rusher opposite of Cameron Jordan and JJ Watt could be the guy they’re looking for.

Watt has done a lot for the City of Houston, but recent criticism of the upper management of the Texans which lead to Bill O’Brien being fired has created some tensions between the two parties.

The Texans seem to be throwing this season away in hopes of landing some solid draft picks and rebuilding around Deshaun Watson. They could be looking to dump JJ Watt’s salary cap hit of $17.5 million dollars elsewhere.

New Orleans has been rumored to be interested in Watt and they could look to bring in the three-time Defensive Player of the Year.

Watt has been good so far this season, as always, as he’s recorded 19 tackles, three tackles for a loss, six quarterback hits, three sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and three pass deflections through six games played.

If the Saints deal Rankins and some draft picks to Houston in exchange for Watt, the Saints may just be able to snag one of the NFL’s greatest defensive ends of all time to help them make a run at the Super Bowl.
