Number Two: Buffalo Bills

Sheldon Rankins and the Buffalo Bills seem like a match made in heaven.

Rankins displays the versatile, pass-rushing defensive tackle abilities that Buffalo has been seeking from their defensive linemen and Rankins would get to play on a young, talented defense on a contending team.

The Bills would also likely be able to give the Saints the best deal for the services of Sheldon Rankins. A likely offer for Rankins would be a third and seventh-round pick for the former first-round selection.

The Bills were also considered to be in the running to draft Sheldon Rankins back in 2016 and they reportedly fell in love with the talent and upside Rankins had when they hosted him for a pre-draft visit.

This deal would make sense for both parties as Buffalo would add another defensive tackle alongside the young Ed Oliver and be able to bring him back for cheap knowing his injury history, and the Saints would be able to accumulate some draft picks to help build up their team for the future, given they won’t be able to keep all their elite talent.
