Benardrick McKinney to New Orleans

At full strength, the New Orleans Saints worst unit defensively is their linebackers.

Led by one of the best in the NFL, the Saints could try to go out and secure another elite linebacker, preferably one that can stuff the run while Davis works as the main outside and coverage option.

McKinney is currently on the Texans. Despite having Deshaun Watson, the Texans are just 1-5 this season. In a division with the undefeated Titans and 4-2 Colts, the Texans are lagging behind, and with another loss or two will be out of playoff contention.

Before the deadline, they should be sellers. Through four games, McKinney has 37 tackles. He also has one pass deflection and one tackle for a loss. It’s about stuffing that run which McKinney is among the best in the NFL at.

With compensatory picks potentially on the way, the Saints should look into bringing McKinney in and shoring up their linebacking corps.
