PJ Williams

P.J. Williams is currently operating as the No. 3 cornerback behind Marshon Lattimore and Janoris Jenkins. However, because of recent injuries, Williams has been forced into playing big minutes and he hasn’t really stepped up to the plate.

In fact, cornerback No. 4 Patrick Robinson has almost played just as well if not better than Williams with half the price tag. Williams has 11 tackles and a fumble recovery on the year. Robinson has nine tackles, two passes defended, and one interception.

In a quote from John Sigler from SaintsWire on Patrick Robinson, “Robinson, in particular, flashed against a solid Lions receiving crops and came away with an end-zone interception to help the Saints comeback effort.”

The Saints can let Williams go and be perfectly fine with Patrick Robinson and Justin Hardee. They should see what they could attract for PJ Williams. I am sure that he could bring in middle-round draft picks or players.
