5 Saints that’ve proven to be expendable through NFL’s Week 6

These five Saints players have proven, through six weeks of the season, that they are expendable to the team and their future could be short.

The New Orleans Saints have not had the start to the season that they were hoping for; in fact, it has been almost depressing after the last season and offseason that they had. However, the team will continue to press forward.

They have bounced back from an under .500 record at 1-2 with two wins.

They are now sitting at 3-2 with an above .500 record for the first time since Week 1. After their Week 6 bye, they’ll look to add another win against a divisional opponent, the 3-3 Carolina Panthers for the lead in the division.

When you look at what the individual players for the Saints have done, there are several players who have not played up to their expectations. These are the players that have become expendable to the team going forward.

They have not been playing as well as their paychecks say they should be. These expendable players are in jeopardy of being traded or benched at any point in the near future.  Here are the top five Saints players that are expendable.
