The New Orleans Saints have had a mediocre season through the first five weeks, but there are glaring positives and negatives from the team.

The New Orleans Saints started out their season with a fantastic win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was a win that many fans thought was the foreshadowing of what the whole season would be like — but it was not.

Week 2 came around and the Saints lost a tough road game against the Las Vegas Raiders. They turned around in Week 3 and lost again to the Green Bay Packers. These two losses left them following Week 3 with a losing record of 1-2 for the first time since 2018.

The Saints evened up their record in Week 4 with a win against the Detroit Lions, and then they went above .500 with a win against the Los Angeles Chargers — even though it was an ugly win after being down 20-3 at one point in the first half.

They are currently 3-2.

Going into their rest/bye week. The Saints have played five weeks and have had a number of positive notes to recognize, but they have also had a number of negatives note to point out. Here are three positives and three negatives from the first five weeks.
