Number One: Michael Thomas Drama

There’s a lot to dive into when it comes to the drama Michael Thomas started up the past couple of weeks. Thomas is obsessed with Twitter, almost too much so, and it’s starting to affect his play on the field and how he carries himself off of it.

Michael Thomas suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 1 vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and hasn’t played since. He was practicing all week leading up to the game against the Los Angeles Chargers before being ruled out two days ahead of the game for a non-injury related situation.

Reports later came out that Thomas got into practice altercations with Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and Malcolm Jenkins, leading to a one-game suspension.

Thomas took to Twitter to try to clear the air, but instead posted subliminal messages about the Saints that we’ve seen way too many times in other organizations.

Thomas needs to calm down and get back to football before it gets to a point where he demands a trade or creates more unnecessary drama. Thomas is hands down one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and will look to hopefully bounce back and play following the bye week.
