The New Orleans Saints have a Week 6 bye before taking on Carolina in Week 7, and they’ll get to reset their roster both physically and mentally.

Every team loves getting into the grind of the grueling NFL season, but every team also looks forward to their bye week so they can take a week off and heal up their aching bodies a little bit. The Saints will be more than welcoming to their bye week.

The New Orleans Saints may need this bye week more than any other team in the NFL as the team through the first five weeks of the season has disappointed their fanbase, suffered many injuries and has been on the news headlines with practice affairs.

It just hasn’t been too great of a season.

They started 1-0 with a nice win over Tampa Bay. After that, they lost to the Raiders and Packers, both of which could’ve gone their way. Thankfully, despite being down double digits in both games, the Saints were able to climb back and end Week 5 with a 3-2 record.

That said, the Saints have several storylines to watch for as the team heads into their bye week, and here they are.
