Standing at 3-2 going into the Saints bye week, there are three different ways the rest of the Saints season could go from here.

The week of rest has finally come for the New Orleans Saints, and it couldn’t have come at a better time due to the injuries and difficulties the Saints are currently going through. This bye will give them a chance to group back up and come back out firing.

From offensive line injuries to Michael Thomas punching teammates at practice, the Saints have needed this break. The biggest players this helps are Marcus Davenport, Michael Thomas, and Cesar Ruiz — all of who dealt with injuries in the first five weeks.

Coming out of this bye week, there are several directions that the Saints season can go from here. Depending on the winning and losing records, it will determine which path they ultimately take in Weeks 7-17.

There is only one path that fans hope they ultimately take and that is the winning one, but we have to evaluate each path and the likelihood of it. Here are the three directions the Saints season will go from here on out.
