The Saints don’t need Bell

This goes along with the previous point of Kamara and Murray playing so well together. Because of that, the Saints have no need for him. He would never see the field and only play as a replacement to Murray which would make him the No. 3 back.

The Saints also don’t have the cap space to even touch what Bell is going to be asking for. He hit almost $30 million on his last contract. Especially with him being the No. 3, the Saints would be able to offer him somewhere like $3 million for the year.

There is no reason that the Saints should even pursue someone that they wouldn’t be willing to sign. Without a need or money to do it, then they shouldn’t even entertain the idea of targeting Le’Veon Bell at this point in time.
