Le’Veon Bell is the newest big name to hit the free-agent market, and the New Orleans Saints need to stay as far away as possible.

There was a time period about two years ago when Bell was with the Pittsburgh Steelers that I would have died for the Saints to have a shot at Le’Veon Bell in ghe free agency market. Now, after his stint with the Jets, they can leave him there.

What if I told you that Le’Veon Bell used to be the best running back in the NFL. To some people, that would be impossible to comprehend, but it is true. In 2017, he exploded in his last year with Pittsburgh before his contract dispute.

He ran for 1,291 yards and nine touchdowns. He also added 85 receptions for 655 yards and two touchdowns. Bell was simply unstoppable as he made the Pro Bowl roster and was selected as a first-team All-Pro player.

Since 2017, it has all gone downhill for the ex-Jets running back. After multiple confrontations with coach Adam Gase and multiple injuries, the New York Jets did the only thing they could — they released Le’Veon Bell.

Now that he is on the free-agent market, everyone is speculating about where he is going to go. I do not know where Bell will wind up, but I do know one thing — the Saints should not be interested.
