Losers

Andrus Peat

It wasn’t Andrus Peat’s worst performance. He allowed a few pressures on Drew Brees, as the veteran quarterback was hurried several times and taken down twice.

Peat did have a crucial holding penalty that sent the Saints back ten yards. Despite that flag, one of just five the Saints had, finally not surpassing 100 yards, the Saints were able to score on that play.

Aside from his holding, the offensive line played well yet stalled in general early in the game, scoring just three points in the first quarter. They need to fix that, and while it can’t all be put on Peat, he still needs to be better moving forward.

Patrick Robinson

Robinson ended the game with four tackles, two of which were solo tackles. However, he had a mistake that almost cost the Saints the game. Below is a video of the play, an over 60-yard touchdown to Williams.

Robinson didn’t play well for most of the game as Herbert shredded the secondary for 264 yards and four touchdowns. Thankfully, next week, the Saints will hopefully be getting No. 2 cornerback Janoris Jenkins back.
